About the Social Studies Training Program

This training program is specially designed to help Social Studies teachers effectively integrate Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) into modern social studies teaching and learning practices. Through this course, participants will explore a wide range of AI-powered tools that support the teaching of history, geography, civics, economics, culture, environment, citizenship education, current affairs, lesson planning, and social studies assessment.

The training equips teachers with practical skills to use AI for creating engaging social studies lessons, developing interactive learning materials, generating worksheets, quizzes, presentations, maps, timelines, case studies, and providing personalized feedback to learners. Participants will also learn how to use AI to create project-based learning activities, debates, simulations, historical narratives, geographical visualizations, and inquiry-based classroom resources. In addition, the course emphasizes the ethical, safe, and responsible use of AI and data privacy in social studies education.
